Mapping, Graphics and Web Tools
Nuka Research produces high-quality custom maps and graphics to meet our clients’ needs. We work with a variety of mapping software applications, including GIS, to develop maps and geographic references to support planning projects, or as stand-alone products. We develop custom graphics and illustrations to further enhance the visual appeal of reports, brochures, plans, or other documents. We also have an extensive library of photography of the Alaska coastline, and specialize in developing aerial photographs for use in site evaluation and planning.
Nuka Research has been an innovator in the development and application of computer-based oil spill planning and response tools. We have completed several recent projects that utilized internet and intranet platforms to streamline information management in oil spill planning and response. We design our online applications to be compatible with most windows-based PDAs, for field portability.
